Coaching
During any professional career it is possible to come up against difficulties. Under certain conditions, these obstacles can seem daunting and the use of coaching often proves to be the best solution.
The 6 stages of coaching:
|
stage 1
Analyzing the demand
|
> |
stage 2
Defining the final goals of coaching
|
> |
stage 3
Interview and the use of coaching tools
|
|
stage 4
The coachee's goals and action plan
|
> |
stage 5
The coachee puts into practise what he has learnt
|
> |
stage 6
Follow-up interview with the coachee
|
In certain cases it may be useful for the hierarchical superior to take part in stage 1 in order to define the coachee's current situation and the situation required as regards the job function. In this case, a stage 7 is necessary to understand what progress has been made and what still needs to be achieved.
